FACEBOOK BANNED IN PAKISTAN
Well, so Facebook has been banned in Pakistan. The reason? A group called "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day!" was created and lets just say, the Pakistani's are not too happy about it. They feel that it is an insult to the Muslim religion thus they banned Facebook so people cannot participate in it. Do people actually draw it on Facebook? Even if Facebook is banned, people can still participate in it on the streets. So i do not see much of a point in banning Facebook.
Also, people do not only use Facebook to join ridiculous groups. There are also sane people out there who actually use Facebook for what it is meant for. Social Networking. Facebook is a social networking site which allows users to interact with their friends or relatives even though they may be 5thousand miles away. By banning Facebook, these people would definetely be outraged as they have not anything wrong but they too have to suffer such a consequence.
Furthermore, certain people also use Facebook as a source of entertainment. There are loads of games on Facebook that can keep any user glued to the screen. Now that Facebook is banned, some people have nothing to do. I feel that the banning of Facebook is a very silly move and that it is not fair.
