Face+book=Facebook
Facebook is one of the hottest site visited nowadays. Sizzling. With simple delights found in communicating with friends, stalking individuals, posting photos and many other more fun functions. It is accessible at any time ! just plug your computer into the internet and there you have it. The book of faces (facebook).
There are many advantages to facebook but of course, there are some disadvantages of facebook.
Facebook allows us to socialist with one another. For example, writing on each other's wall. People can also get into further information on details of a particular person. Such as common friends, school, age, relationship status (ahem), photos and videos. You might think that facebook is for only younger people. You're wrong ! facebook are even used in businesses nowadays. Events, companies, businesses could ask customers to join them on facebook. They can create a fan page for that business. Drawing more people in and knowing about that business more. It is even possible to promote the business. Updates can be found on the business as well.
One example could be ben and jerry's. They host polls where you can get customer feedback. Such surveys are helpful.
However, there are indeed some poor usuage of facebook, thus resulting in consequences. Without any supervision, things can go wrong. Such as scams and frauds. By hacking into the account of someone, you can use his account to do serious damage or use it as a fake identity to get benefits out of it. Such as a fraud for cash. Rakesh Agrawal was a victim in case. He was the president of snapstream. LOL
An unknown individual hacked into his friend's account, matt. While in his account, he was chatting with Rakesh and he claimed that he was robbed and had no money and that the kids and wife are stuck at london. Luckily, Rakesh was able to know his friend well enough and found out it wasn't matt but a scammer. A SCAMMER ! A SCAMMER ! a scammer.
Therefore there many usuages of facebook. Either good or bad. Advantages or disadvantages. It's up to us to do the right thing and how to use facebook in an appropiate manner. THANK YOU !
