Flyers (not the one at vivo) - are they the new chewing gum ? should they be banned ?
i don't think so.
Flyers are good ways to advertise on a certain event or product. It reaches to the consumers out there. It's cheap and convienient. It's one simple way of advertising as well. However, some people have seen the wrath of flyers. Such as the bad usuage of flyers.
On stomp, there was a case on how an individual was upset that he could find parts parts of the piece of unsightly paper were stuck to his windscreen and could not be removed unless he scratched them off. Some fliers are seen as an act of vandalism. On one case, the same ad fliers were still paste on the walls in a lift lobby of a particular place even when they were torn off before. They just kept re-appearing. It would be such a nuisance as a result. Such cases such as when flyer distributors are getting out of hand. On case on stomp talks about the amount of fliers he received at his gate over a short period of time.
Another problem is also littering. When the ad is useless to the individual, he or she will throw away the flyer. Isn't that right ? but most of the time, we would actually throw the flyer away as it's only useless for a short moment of time. To know about the product or the information they are trying to give us. After that it goes to the bin.
SUCH A WASTE ! SUCH A WASTE ! SU-C-H AAAAA WASSSSSSSSTE !
isn't it true ? ):
The loss of these flyers makes a loss of tress. Thus, it's murdering of trees !
However i don't think it should be banned but the usuage of such flyers should be more appropiate.
If flyers are banned, how would information be given out ? Through other media works but it's expensive. Therefore flyers should not be banned.
