Our Unspoken Confessions
Well so certain discussions have been posted as to wether flyers should be banned. In my opinion, i fee that there is really no need to ban the distribution of flyers. Yes the people that distributes them may be irritating and yes u feel pissed that u have to take flyers out of ur wind screen. But there is really no need to ban flyers right? I mean, they are just small pieces of paper. If u see some random dude distributing them, u can just walk away or just say no. How hard could saying one word be?
People feel that flyers should be banned because they are a waste of paper and a major source of littering. Who actually reads flyers? The general public just take flyers and dump it into rubbish bins without even taking a glance at what it says. Everywhere, people are talking about saving the world by not wasting resources. And here we are in this small City of Singapore, taking flyers and tossing them into the bin. Its not a matter of flyers anymore. Its a matter of how the public thinks. Yes, i agree that the words on flyers are quite nonsensical but why dont you just take the flyer and toss it into the recycle bins instead? Singapore is filled with recycling bins. Everywhere you go, its common to see one. So the people that want to ban flyers with the reason that its a threat to the world are all talking nonsense. Their all just lazy to make the extra effort to recycle those pieces of paper.
