S'pore table tennis team wins championship: Is there any glory?

In order to sustain Singapore's economy, it is important to first have a growing population. However, Singapore's population alone is not large enough to keep up with the economy to ensure the population can grow. Thus, Foreign Talent was introduced to attract talents from overseas coming to Singapore.
Foreign talents are certainly a boon to our economy as it consists of a diversity of skills. From sports, technology, to a broad range of many different knowledge. The advantage Singapore can gain are the skills and techniques imparted from foreign talents which can then be further passed on to our locals. However, some locals feel that Singaporeans should represent our country rather than foreign talents even though they might be the ones who shared their knowledge with us locals. What do you think?
I personally feel that we should be thankful to foreign talents. Some have generously shared their knowledge with us even though their objectives in working here might be because of the exchange rate currency or Singapore's stable and healthy economy. However, foreign talents may represent Singapore but it is important that majority of our Singaporeans should represent our country instead of foreign talents to make our country proud. Afterall, it is only human to exchange information, develop and grow through learning new things from different sources.
